The AI For Social Good (AI4SG), a multi-university project led by Dr. Yu Chen, project
offers curriculum that engages students from all disciplines to propose or develop
AI powered solutions that address social issues in their communities. This project
is sponsored by National Science Foundation IUSE/HSI program (#2142783, #2142503,
#2142490, #2142594, #2142439).
Data Science for All, an NSF-funded project () led by Dr. Leslie Albert and her colleagues Dr. Scott Jensen and Dr. Esperanza Huerta-Espinosa
provided introductory data science training via extracurricular seminars to over 1200
students from non-technical backgrounds between fall 2018 and summer 2022.
Emeritus Faculty Dr. Stephen Kwan and Dr. Nitin Aggarwal were funded by a NIST Standards
Services Group Education Challenge Grant to develop course materials on standards
and standardization for integration into existing business curriculum. Materials include
case studies, supplemental resources, student study and discussion questions, and
