Background
Friederike Bruehoefener serves as the Assistant Vice Provost for the Center for Faculty Excellence and Teaching Innovation. Working closely with the CFETI team, she oversees the Center鈥檚 programming aimed at supporting faculty鈥攊ncluding department chairs and directors鈥攁t any career stage.
While, by training, a historian of Modern Germany鈥攈olding a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill鈥攚ith a special focus on women鈥檚, gender, and new military history, Dr. Bruehoefener has significant experience working with faculty across disciplines, departments, and colleges. She is enthusiastic about supporting faculty as they pursue creative, scientific, and scholarly projects and seeks to integrate their research into their teaching and service.
